Favorite thing: see the Old Town. Old Town of Bydgoszcz is very small, so it will not take too much time. If you like 'old towns' go to Torun (40 km to the east), where the old town is really beautiful. At the picture you can see Zaulek street.

Favorite thing: The most unusual place to see in this city is 'Venecja Bydgoska' (Bydgoszcz Venece). The neighborhood is old and it's set up in the overgrown city park over the river. It's a place not known to tourists because it's rather poor and settled by polish gypsies. The place has character and it's very romantic. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for something a little more 'exotic' in rather dull city.
Fondest memory: I spent my childhood there. My memories.... I'll have to write a novel about them someday.
