There is an airport in Bydgoszcz. There are not many flights but there is a connection to London every day. It is held by low costs airlines so tickets are really cheap. Besides there are some flights to Berlin and Copenhagen.

By airplane (Embraer ERJ 145) from Warsaw. Airplane departs every day from Warsaw on 22.10, and from Bydgoszcz on 06.10. Flight takes about 35-45 minutes. Ticket costs 40 EURO.

A: You can take bus or taxi from the airport to Bydgoszcz then train to Torun. Info on airport transport in English on the official website...

This horribly sounding name of the city comes from two polish words: "BE A GUEST". So I can say I live in a very friendly and hospitable city :) Bydgoszcz is not the biggest of Polish tourist...
