by Ben-UK Visit the Museum of the City (on the right in my photo) - it is housed in the splendour of the former mansion of the textile industrialist Poznanski. The building dates back to the end of the 19th century and its architecture is French Neo-Renaissance. Next to it is a typical textile mill.
As well as exhibits relating to the history of Lodz, the museum contains an exhibition dedicated to Arthur Rubinstein, the world-famous pianist who was born in the city. Leave a Comment
