As in every other city around the world these days, be careful walking around, especially at night, and if you have a car, DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN IT!! We were in a pub for about an hour, at night, in the old town, and when we returned to Paulina's car, someone had helped themselves to the radio. Nice.

I had my first glimpse of the Old Town late evening, well into the night.
My Lublin colleague told me to stay out of the little alleys, narrow by-streets and corners no matter how intriguing they looked... I guess this is the sort of warning you can get anywhere in the world out there...?
I was reassured that I would be safe keeping to just the Old Town square and the Grodzka St...
So I did.
Returned to the hotel in one piece ;-)
