The inn, which is located by the Warsaw - Lublin road, has been strongly recommended to me by my friend who is a great gourmet so can definitely be trusted. They offer a wide choice of yummy dishes, many of them local. I looked up the place on the Web and my mouth started watering while I was reading the menu. To me, the fish dishes sound particularly tempting but I would really like to try everything. The helpings are so big that your dog, if you have one, can easily be fed on what you leave uneaten. The service is prompt and friendly.
In winter you can enjoy the warmth of the open fireplaces while in the summer you can sit in the lovely little garden with a pond and a tiny bridge. The folk wooden decor and the carved furniture in the Polish highland style only add to the pleasure of dining there.
Altogether, a stopover not to be missed.
Excellent hot chocolate with plenty of yummy additions. For someone looking for Polish tradition I recommend chocolate with 'piernik' syrup. Piernik is the spice cake made with honey and ingredients. Nice company for chocolate can be also crispy waffer (gofer) with different fillings (my favourite: local honey)
