From the airport to the city centre (18 km = 11 mi) you can get by BUS No 192.

Fare is 2.20 PLN (4-70yo) 1.10 PLN (4-7yo; Polish school, college, university students up to 26yo) + 2.20 PLN for each piece of luggage (if at least one size exceeds 20cmx40cmx60cm) + 0.5 PLN for each ticket purchased by a driver.

The extension and the modernisation of the existing parking lot were completed in mid-2000. Located opposite the passenger terminal, the parking lot can accommodate 756 vehicles, including 15 places for buses.

We flew to Krakow with Ryanair and landed quite late in the evening so we did not see much of the airport

Balice airport is Krakow's airport. A free bus takes you from the airport to Balice train station and a train takes you from there to Krakow train station, very close to the Market square.

Krakow has its own airport. LOT the Polish National Airline offers both international and domestic flights with Warsaw being their hub. They are members of the Star Alliance.

There are now lots of budget airlines selling cheap flights to Krakow.No thrills and limited maximum luggage weight means you can buy a return ticket for as little as 40 GBP.
