Luggage and bags: Krakow’s central Old Town historic district, turned into a pedestrian precinct, teems with stores of all sorts. They line every street in the area, at the main avenues.
So, don't forget large and many suitcases and bags. Some gifts are large in size :-)))

Miscellaneous: Don't forget good maps of Cracow (Krakow). For drivers: with restricted parking/driving A, B, C zones; parking lots and one-way streets marked.
If you forget them no worry: there are tenths various maps sold in many points in Krakow.
Get a map of environs as well if you are going to visit them.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I recommend you to pack larger clothes then you used to wear. Why?
There are at least 2 reasons:
1. Eating/food in Krakow is delicious and you may catch EA (eating addiction) and it's not necessarilly low-fat eating so be prepared to get a few kilograms/pounds.
2. Hmmm... Krakow is not a paradise for early morning street jogging and sport lovers. Instead you can practice crazy dancing all nights there.

Miscellaneous: When you come back do NOT forget to save original packagings of all good you bought in Krakow. Just in rare case you have to return something. Add bills haha :-))).
Look at my pic. Hmm... order a truck better.

Miscellaneous: Get a notebook (with Polish-English dictionary on CD, guide and maps of Krakow on CD or buy them in Krakow) - remember about 220V (230V soon) voltage and European plugs (check my Poland's page for more).
If you don't have any notebook you can go to any of numerous internet cafes (look at the pic; Rynek Glowny = Main Market Square), some operates 24h haha - specially for very addicted VT-ers.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: My husband and daughter had the presence of mind to bring rain jackets, but I had to buy one... and another sweater...when in country. No matter. Love to shop. Loved the tour in spite of the rain. I often seem to be cold in Poland. Guess I'll travel in summer next time. Hasn't prevented me from loving the country, tho.
