    Tribeca: Hmmmmm...............

On the Main Market Square, a chain place I think? Bit reminiscent of Starbucks-type places, but with outside seating (nice wicker chairs). Serve 'Americano' coffee (ie large, black) and other types as well as eats and alcohols. Apparently (and I quote the inside of the cup) the coffee is 'more than just a beverage, it is a small personal ritual'. Well, actually, it was just a beverage; perfectly ok, a bit pricier than usual, nothing special. Nice enough place to sit and watch the action, but the whole square is surrounded with such places so I wouldn't pick it out specially.

Tribeca: Did we turn the corner into New York!??

Thoroughly modern and sort of deco..... the Tribeca was the closest thing I saw to New York City in Krakow. Designed similar to the coffee houses in some of the sheik neighborhoods in the states, the Tribeca Coffee Co. serves good coffee, hot chocolate and other light snacks. Their coffee and comfortable surroundings were especially welcome on such a cold day as Gosia and I were enduring in Krakow that day.

    Tribeca: designer restaurant, decent food

by IoannaE Updated May 7, 2007

An OK place for grown-ups, not so good for children - they didn't know to serve them all at the same time, for starters.... The pastas were clearly all made with the same sauce to which bits were added (anchovies for the puttanesca, etc). An OK meal in a pleasant designer-ish environment with tables and chairs but also sofas for those who just want a drink or coffee and something small to eat.

    Tribeca: Overrated!

by mandiegrrl Written Apr 2, 2007

Average, if not bland, food and not much choice. This place is good for the location only (if going to the one directly on the Rynek). The servers go out of their way to be rude and slow (which, in Poland, really is saying something) and everything from the salads to the coffee is vastly expensive. Only go if you have no other option or wish to spend a lot of money on little taste.

    TriBeCa Coffee: Excelent espresso

I had one of the best espresso's ever here, and I can say I was very suprised. As outside of Italy, it can be a search to find a good one. But this place did deliver the goods. It was as good as I have had in Italy, even better than others in Italy.
I know, you have to have luck aswell with the person making the espresso, but the coffee they used already made up 50% of a good espresso. And the 50% came from the nice lady.

And if you are at it, try one of their snacks, they will fill up an emty stomach.

Favorite Dish: The espresso, what did ya think????

TRIBECA COFFEE Co.: Coffee served in many ways

    Tribeca Coffee Co. card

This place is just about coffees of various flavours and desserts. If course, I would first recommend the other coffee shops in the Old Town (like the Bankowa!) as Tribeca looks rather like McDonald's... But if you feel like having a particular flavour coffee, Tribeca may have it.

One thing I found annoying was that service tends to be on the slow side... but are you really in a hurry in a place like Cracow? ;-)

Favorite Dish: Hot chocolate - delicious!
