Kopiec Kosciuszki (the Kosciuszko Mound, built by the citizens to honour him) is placed on a hill giving a great view on Krakow. The entrance fee is 2,5zl (0,5€) and the way up to the hill and from it is very picturesque.

Built in the XIX century to honour Polish national hero, Tadeusz Kosciuszko, offers the best panoramic view on the historic Centre of Cracow. The top of the mound is located 133 meters over the level of the Vistula river. The entrance fee is around 1 euro, and you can visit it also after the sunset, which is I strongly encourage you to do so. The lights of the city will impress you. If you want to take nighttime photos, don't forget to take really _heavy_ tripod with you, because the wind is almost always strong up there.
