I prefer less touristic places for skiing with my family, or just contact with the nature like ski touring ot cross country in the mountains, but for the combination of skiing and the going out Zakopane will be a good choice.The big advantage of Zakopane area from my point of view is that you can visit some interesting places in the day time and still enjoy skiing up to 10 p.m.My friends from Moskva just love Zakopane, most of people from Krakow pass Zakopane on the way to the mountains or Kasprowy for skiing on weekend trips.Slovakia is more expensive than Poland nowadays.Ski liftsKasprowy Wierch is a very good place for but not for the beginners, and if not wind.There are many other lifts in Zakopane and within 30km (the most interesting for me is Jurgow, many Poles prefers Bialka and Bukowina, something in Witow.Another popular places for skiers in Poland are Wisla/Szczyrk and...
