In and around the old Stadium Dziesieciolecia (Tenth-Anniversary Stadium) one of the largest outdoor markets in Europe can be found. It is also often referred to as "Russian Market".

The market consists of numerous traders, mainly immigrants, selling all kinds of things from Soviet bric-a-brac, rifles, vodka, pirate CDs and DVDs to perfume and all things in between.

You can read many strange stories about this market in the guide books. So just wander around and do some people watching, but look out for pickpockets and be prepared to feel a bit uncomfy.

    Directions:
The Outdoor Market is situated in and around the Stadium Dziesieciolecia in the Praga district on the right side of the Vistula River.

    *** Update Spring 2010: ***
I have read in my "Rough Guide to Poland" that the Outdoor Market has been closed, as the Stadium Dziesieciolecia is now the building site for the new football stadium for the EURO 2012.

Ursynow - my place of living

Ursynow is in the south part of Warsaw. It's good place of living. Not so crowdy like in the centre, a lot of green around. Only few stations by underground to Las Kabacki (Kabaty Forest), very nice place for walking and resting.
On this pic you can see a building where I live, it's this smaller.

    Kopa Cwila

This hill called Kopa Cwila is placed right in the front of the building where I live. In the winter it's great place for sledging, skiing or snowboarding and in the summer for walking or biking.
