Dress warm, trust me!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Big, warm, hiking boots if you going hiking, or if you going anywhere in winter! And lots of sweaters, with at least one big, thick jacket to wear over everything!

Photo Equipment: Some camera's have been known to stop working in extreme cold. Poland in January is EXTREMELY cold!

Don't forget the umbrella

Miscellaneous: The Polish children's verse says:
"When will it be raining in Poland?
Maybe in December, maybe in June
Maybe tomorrow afternoon."

(replaced May with June because it rhymes...)

Yes, it's summer time and the sun is bright.... but you can never know when it might rain.
Afternoon showers are not that uncommon and did occur even during that dry and hot summer of 2003.
Having a small folded umbrella might be a good idea.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The major attractions in Warsaw are spread out all over the city, so you'll be doing a lot of walking during your visit. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes to keep your feet happy. Otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of very interesting sights.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Warsaw is a big city and you'll need a comfortable shoes for long walking.
Even if you're going here in the summer take some warmer clothes, the weather can change and it can become quite cold in a short time.
Don't forget umbrella or somethin against the rain.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you are going to stay in cheaper hotel bring a soap and towel with you because it's possibble they won't supply them.

Miscellaneous: No need to bring anything special except comfortable shoes. Warsaw is an European country and in the shops here you can buy the same what in other countries.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable walking shoes - although there is excellent public transport I always find I would rather walk so that I don't miss anything.

Make sure you have plenty of warm clothes if you visit in winter. It is advisablt to wear several layers.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: These days the shops seem to have everything that you need - usually at a lower price than the UK.
