Na Prowincji is a homely, small Italian restaurant in the Old Town. The interior is simple, but cosy and the young staff is very friendly. The menu offers a wide range of tasty Italian meals.
I opted for a tasty Pizza Venezia and a big Polish beer (Zywiec) for only 35 Zloty (2004).
It was a first restaurant, visited in Warsaw, not so far away from defensive barbican. we came here for a dinner, so ordered smaller size pizzas and tea. Pizzas was quite filling and deliciuos. We price for two pizzas, tea and glass of water was about 60 zloty (around 15 euros).
Personnel was friendly and able to talk in English. Na Provincji has a strange design toilet :)
Ok, everybody knows Pizza Hut, don't they? This one is situated on the Square connected to the Royal Palace, with a nice view, outside seating for Take-Away buyers, and seems to be regularly busy. They do not offer the all you can eat Buffet lunch that is on offer in English Pizza huts, but their food is reasonably cheap.
Favorite Dish:
I had the Meat-Lovers Pizza, topped with Salamai, Beef & Spicy Pork... Ice Cold beer on the side... Mmmmm... 2 Pizza's and 2 drinks for under 50Zl (14 Euros).
An original place where to eat Italian food. You order directly to different counters (Antipasti, Pizza, Pasta, Pastries, Ice cream, Coffee-Bar). Then take place and enjoy your great choice. Excellent quality price ratio.
Too tired (or hung over) to leave your hotel for a meal? Tele Pizza will bring a meal to you instead. It was actually pretty decent pizza, though probably nothing to write home about. Keep it in mind if you want to lounge around your hotel room instead of venturing out into the city though.
After several days of authentic Polish quisine we were all in the mood for something a bit different, and Pizza Marzano fit the bill perfectly. It's located on Nowy Swiat, so the best time to go is on the weekend when the street is closed to traffic. During the week it can be a bit loud if you eat outside because the tables are so close to the street. Either way, the pizza is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Apparently there are also several other locations around town but the one on Nowy Swiat was the only one I saw.
