You need to be careful when walking around the streets of Rzeszow. It's actually illegal to cross the road at points that are not designated crossing points. You can see the correct points designated by zebra style crossings, although cars don't have to stop when they see you waiting to cross. Always wait until the 'green man' comes on to advise you to cross the road. Crossing before this happens could also land you in trouble with the police.
Although generally roads in Rzeszow in main areas are quite good, the roads and pathways the less busy parts of Rzeszow are not very well maintained. Always take care walking the streets, its very easy to trip on a loose paving slab or broken tarmac. I know from experience.
