I was standing near the short decoration column, separating town hall square from the road and accidently found Bialystok region’s coat of arms on it. It was actually two coats of arms, separated by line – Polish eagle and Lithuanian knight.
Possible such coat of arm was formed due to quite common history of Lithuania, as this part of Poland was territory of Grand Duchy of Lithuania till second half of 18th century.

In centrum of Bialystok there is very nice park. If you come to Bialystok, you must go to this park. This is the favorite place of the Bialystok ihabitants to rest and walk.
Time to time there are the festines and some people make the piquenic on the gras.
Unique Suggestions: There is very beautiful in spring and in summer. There are some fountains and cafe gardens.
Fun Alternatives: In the other part of park called Zwierzyniec - there is a little zoo. This is the favorite place of children. You can see here wisents ( European bisons), fox, wolfs...
