Observing vessels in the Port of Gdynia is a popular activity in my city. Some of them are really spectacular.
The museum is private, rather small, but worth visiting- it has a few really rare exhibits. The owner is a car dealer whose passion is to find and renovate old vehicles.
If you don't want to spend your time among people doing shopping, choose any of other sea trips or even watching the port -either by ship,or by hydrofoil.
There are some fine sandy beaches in the area though the quality and temperature of the water leave a lot to be desired.
The ships moored in dockyards , like the 'ORP B³yskawica' destroyer ('Lightning') or Dar Pomorza (the Pomeranian Gift) for instance, are the biggest tourist attractions.
