This is one of my favourite place in Katowice. The place is very nice and it has an interior well designed. The club was opened in Septmeber 2004 and shortly became popular with tollerant people.;)
You may feel a magic place here: with fireplace, candles, music: chillout, jazz, sometimes a little bit of pop and rock - sometimes even live!
The club is a bar and a gallery. You may watch paintings or pictures of young artists and some other - more popular.
There are open and closed to the public events.

This is a place where you may sit and drink or even dance. I have not beed here on weekends when there are some dance nights but the club is quite big. There is a place to sit and a dancing floor...
The atmosphere of the place is rather dark... I mean that courtins are closed but it looks quite nice. I was said that the club had not a good reputation but now (after renovation) it looks ok for me. Toiles are in a good condition. However, what I don't like are table cloths in a white colour... It doesn't fit the interior... White table cloths would be better for a restaurant or so but not this kind of club...
There are dances during every weekend. The entry fee is 5 PLN. There is pleny of place where you may sit. However, Scena has not a big dancing floor and no air-conditioning what may be really uncomfortable, especially during summer months... It is also not possible to open windows from the front of the club. I would say that it is the most popular place among gays and lesbians in Katowice. It is also visited by many people from outside the city, from such places as: Czestochowa, Rybnik or Jastrzebie.

Great club, well designed in a modern and elegant way. There are two floors. The DJ plays a good variety of music on the ground floor starting from old hits that make everybody move to the most modern and popular music ( I spent the whole night on the ground floor). Unless you have a very peculiar taste in music, the DJ would play a song for you at request. The other floor is where the fans of electro have their paradise. There are two bars with beer and quite nice coctails. I also noticed that people were renting private rooms within the club to have their parties there, so there is a good opportunity to have fun with a group of colleagues or friends without shouting over the music and fighting the crowds. There is a bit of a queue before you would be let in, but then this is necessery part of selection of guests and all in all for us the partying started in the queue :)

This is one of the most popular pub in Katowice among students. Kredens is really well designed and this is probably why it is so popular. It makes a unique atmosthere of the place. Moreover, the staff is really nice and friendly.
Kredens offers, except beers, pizzas, pierogies and some more snacks or other dishes. They have also a wide variety of wines, especially from Germany.
Open from the morning (8 am) till late night (2 am at weekends).

In June 2005 Spiz club was opend after 3 years of its renovation. The club is loctaed in an old printing house what makes it unique. Katowice is one of the best clubbing centre of Poland and I would say that Spiz club is one of the best dance clubs in Katowice!
What makes the club unique is also its own brewery and restaurant. This is the second this kind of place on Poland (there is a brewery Spiz in Wroclaw's city hall since 1992). This is the first mini brewery with a dance club in Europe!
The club has two levels and two dance floors, about 600 seats and more than 2000 m2. Spiz brewery has 500 years old tradition. You may get different kind of beer here: from normal, strong to carmel or honey.
The club is open every day. From Monday to Satruday from 2 p.m., on Sunday from 4 p.m.
Dress Code: On Friday and Saturday you need to prepare to DOOR SELECTION. It is better for example not to have shorts.

It's a nice pub/restaurant which decoration links to the Gaudi's works. I quite like it, but it's a bit posh and expensive as well.
Opening hours:
mon-sat: 9.00-22.00
sun: 10.00-22.00

2B3 is rather a small club. There is a place to sit and dance. I was there on Saturday and it was not a place where you may find club or techno music. I would say that the music is like dance, some oldies, Polish and some mixes. The entrance was free of charge.

These are connected clubs but there are seperate entrances. Genesis is rather a dance club with some places to seat and Sofa is a lounge music and bar. The interior is really modern and well designed.
The clubs are connected and you may simply move from one to each other but without any glass. You can't take drinks from one part to the second one what seems to be really strange. Moreover, women pay double less for the entrance and it was not a women's day! Laydies paid 10- PLN and gentelmen 20 PLN.
The dancefloor is small but there was enough place to dance becasue they do not let in too many people what is a plus.
