This is the biggest department store in Katowice and one of the biggest in Poland. There is about 250 shops! There is a hypermarket - Tesco, shops, restaurants, bars, cinema, banks and everything what you can imagine.:) The is also a chapel where you may stop and pray... The store was built in a place of an old coal mine called Gottwald and was being built for one year and one day. Not more than three weeks after opening the store one million people visited it!
What to pay: Most shops and restaurants accept credit cards

Address: Barborki Street
This shop is small and stacked up to the ceiling with the most beautiful glass and boleslawiec pottery. Watch out where you walk.
The prices are very reasonable, considering that in Boleslawiec you have to pay more for the pottery.
The shop owner and the ones who work in the shop are very friendly and helpfull. WIlling to get that one great teapot from way behind the third line of displayed goodies on the top shelf.
What to buy: The glass is of good quality. The carafs are in various great designs, both modern and classic. This is the typical polish usefull souvenir to take with you. But beware - it's rather heavy.
