Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. Thomas the Apostle
Bernardo Morando built this cathedral that is considered one of the greatest religious monuments in Poland Renaissance
It has three halls with stylized columns and numerous side chapels, among them is one of the Zamoyski family where are the remains of 16 Zamoyski descendants
Catedral de la Resurrección y Santo Tomás Apóstol
Bernardo Morando construyó esta Catedral que es considerada uno de los mejores monumentos Renacentistas religioso de Polonia
Tiene tres naves con columnas muy estilizadas y con numerosas capillas laterales entre las que destaca la de la familia Zamoyski donde están los restos de 16 descendientes

Las casas Armenias / Armenian Houses

The Armenian houses, are named so because they are in the area where an special privilege it was granted to them by Jan Zanoyski
The houses are painted red, blue, yellow ... to match the others and get a nice colourful in all the square
The facades are decorated with figures like those of the Virgin Mary that is crushing a dragon with his foot or with the Archangel Gabriel with a lily in hand , although there are also lions and dragons

La casas Armenias , que reciben este nombre pues están en la zona en que por un privilegio especial les concedido Jan Zanoyski
Las casas están pintadas de colores rojos , azules , amarillos ... a juego con las otras y consiguen un gran colorido sin estridencias en toda la plaza
Las fachadas están decoradas con figuras como las de La Virgen María que está aplastando a un dragón con su pie o con el Arcángel San Gabriel con un lirio en las manos aunque en la parte superir hay también leones y dragones

The Rynek is the main square of Zamosc
Square shape and with 100 m on each side and arcades all around . Highlights are the Town Hall and the houses that are around, especially the Armenian houses, all painted with beautiful colons and shapes and with beautiful decorations on its walls
Here is the life centre in Zamosc with restaurants , bars and terraces where you can have a good time

El Rynek es la plaza principal de Zamosc
Cuadrada y con 100 m de lado está porticada en todo su alrededor y en ella destacan el ayuntamiento y sus casas que están alrededor , especialmente las casas Armenias , todas pintadas con bonitos colores y con figuras y bonitos adornos en sus fachadas
Aquí se desarrolla la vida en Zamosc , hay restaurantes , bares y muchas terrazas en las que se puede pasar un buen rato

The Town Hall is in one of the sides of the square and curiously is not centred because Jan Zamoyski did lik ethat in order that his palace were the most important building in Zamosc and to integrate it into the square
The city and its tower of 52 m height were unscathed during World War II, so this tower as the whole city is one of the best preserved cities in Poland

El ayuntamiento está en uno de los lados de la plaza y curiosamente no está centrado ya que Jan Zamoyski lo hizo así para que no le quitara protagonismo a su palacio y que se integrara en la plaza
La ciudad y su torre de 52 m de altura no fueron debastadas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial , por tanto esta torre como toda la ciudad es una de las ciudades mejor conservadas de Polonia
