All along the Neisse river you will see border poles. The red/white ones are the Polish ones. Each has a number and the flag, if they were not stolen. On the German side of the river you will see the equivalents in black/red/yellow.

In a couple of places I spotted these Christmas trees. They had no lights on them but were decorated with large bows in many colours. They added a little colour to a grey town on a grey day.

When we wandered around Zgorzelec on Easter Sunday we saw all these people passing by with Easter punnets. We found out that they take them to the church - maybe for a blessing ?
