Please correct me if I'm wrong about this but someone told me that it was right. Tipping in Portugal is 12%, and this is rarely included in the bill, although sometimes the bill tells you how much to leave as a separate amount. IVA includio means its included and IVA no includio means it isn't.

You will find many statues to honor the Portuguese explorer Henrique all over the Algarve. Without this explorer the new worlds would have not been discovered and many things would not have been brought to Europe like potatoes, peppers and other foods that were discovered in the new world.

Public Ceremonies are often held on Praca Dom Henrique next to the main avenue.
