No patio in Lagos is an English influenced bistro. This is reflected by the prices (rather higher than most other restaurants) and the clientele. The menu is an eclectic mixture of tastes, some Portugese inflenced, others less so. The food was very well cooked and presented, and the service excellent.
It does get very busy - you will need to book
Favorite Dish: Try the pink and green signature dishes.

Beware! Looks the part, but that's about as good as it gets at the Millenium Jardim.
Shoddy service, very slow, rude, couldn't care less about the customer. To make matters worse, when the food does eventually arrive it is pretty damn poor quality fare.
There are so many good places to eat in Lagos, and so many nice people looking to send diners away happy. So please do yourself a favour and give the Millenium Jardim a wide berth...I wish we had!
Favorite Dish: absolutely nothing...don't go there

Discovered this jewel when staying near the praia D'ana beach a few years ago and returned nearly every night of our holiday. Having been to Lagos for the sixth time this year was delighted to go back and enjoy the same delights as before. Firstly there is the personal service from the friendly owner called Daniel who runs this family friendly restaurant. You never feel rushed and feel that your custom is truly valued. The speciality is flambé which is done beside your table, but all the meals are delicious- cooked to perfection and served with tasty vegetables. Plus theres always the special after dinner aperatif that is provided when your bill is delivered. Although this restaurant is hidden away and perhaps therefore does not get the attention it deseves- it can be busy which reflects its quality. You can easily get a taxi there or do as our family enjoyed to go on the tourist train around past the lighthouse and get dropped off next to D'ana beach and walk up the hill. Either way we can not reccomend this restaurant enough which is why we return time and again.
Favorite Dish: All the mains are great but for those with a sweet tooth the crème tart is not to be missed- melt in the mouth delicious!

A sports bar with TV but not over loud. They have entertainment on after the restuarant closes. The food is of great quality and the cook loves Mexican and you can tell, My wife is a veggie and was well catered for on this menu ...sometimes quite hard in PortugaL
The fajitas were one of the best I have tasted and also I tried the Jack Daniels Steak which was also good.
If it is a warm night sit in the garden patio.
Favorite Dish: Fajitas......

Again another place with a nice ambiance and friendly staff with good service Lagos has so many, and next door they have a beer bar.
Watched a couple of football matches there during the worldcup on their big flat screen TV.
The waiters assured me that if there was something not on the menu that i fancied they would make it?.
Favorite Dish: Swordfish steak with the trimmings see the photo, and they do good pork chops.
it was perfect, although not my top rated restaurant, that was restr reis.
However don't let that put you off give it a try we were not disappointed.
This is still a very good restaurant.

The setting is down a side street with tables and chairs outside, looks like a normal tavera nothing to suggest otherwise.
However I have never had a Chicken Salad like they make here, fresh with slices of apple on top, it was lovely.
The service is very good friendly staff, nothing appears to be too much, and the service is quick.
The overall ambiance to britaica is laid back no need to rush.
Favorite Dish: Breakfast is very reasonable, with scrambled egg ,bacon mushrooms ham, along with rolls and Jam,and coffee or tea with orange juice.
A nice way to start the day.
Chicken Salad ,freshly prepared and very tasty,im not a salad person normally but i do like theirs.
Ice creams to die for ,they have a wide selection of specialized ice creams,so be sure not to eat too much on the main meal.

This local type restaurant on the main restaurant street has a very inviting meny with additional evening specials. As i most local restaurant the theme is fish. However the food wasn't up to standard and there is a lot of similar restaurants to choose from. Guests was also treated differently and we just didn't feel welcomed. Main courses was substandard and starters was a disaster.

Off the beaten track next to Hotel Tivoli Lagos you'll will find this hidden gem. Nothing special regarding interior just a typical local restaurant. Staff a bit reserved but if you take the first step you'll get a good interaction and some smiles. I hade the grilled swordfish platter and this was absolutely perfect. This meal is something that I will remember long after all other memories of Lagos has faded. If you want to eat typical algarvian cooking and to be sure to get really fresh ingredients and also be sure to have it in a typical local setting. This is the place for you.

Visited this Angus Steakhous restaurant on Valentines Day and had the todays special including a four meal course and a bottle of sparkling wine. I myself had the grilled swordfish so I can't say anything about the steaks which obvisously is the speciality if this restaurant. Personell (the Dutch owner?) was very social and talkative and we had a pleasent evening. Well worth a try if you want to stay with the steak and skip the starters and desert.

Situated on the main street the looks the resturant stand out from the rest with a more business like designed interior. Staff are very professional but not as personal as on more local type of restaurants. If you're into the lobby type of interior and staff that won't bother you with social interactions this is the place for you.
Favorite Dish: The food was flawless and I had the best dish of the week here. Try the D.Henrique salmon - cooked to perfection and with a good combination of flavours.
