What strikes you first when you arrive in Lagos is the long park-like riverside promenade which runs right from the highway and past a section of the old cities stonewall. It’s a lovely cobblestone and mosaic-patterned promenade stretching the length of the estuary to the new Marina, uncluttered, nicely landscaped, very clean and pedestrian-friendly. It is reminiscent of similar promenades on the Costa del Sol and the French Riviera.
This is the place where all the rich tourists arrive by their yachts and boats. Around the marina you find a lot of open-air places to eat and drink and to have a few over the lively scene of the marina.
you can not only start boat trips from the marina, you can also see many interesting and colourful boats.
