Monte Gordo Travel Guide

 WanderingFinn Says:  If you stay at the Monte Gordo area, you must go and see the beach called Praia Verde. It is much cleaner and nicer than the hotel area beaches, there are not so many tourists, also local people. The area is built to be beautiful. Praia Verde is just 2-3 kms away from Monte... 

 nrone Says:  I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's fresh and shining and cleaning service every day. In January the rooms were very cheap (22€/room/night). In summer I guess it's the double. 

 solopes Says:  This was my favorite take-away in Monte Gordo. Only three different dishes, well chosen, cooked and charged. It has only a couple of tables, betting mainly in take-away. It was a perfect solution to grab a dinner while returning home from the beach.

 solopes Says:  Monte Gordo is one of the most popular family destinations in Algarve, which means that, even with a wide beach, it may become crowded in peak season. I don't bother sharing space with other people, but those who appreciate emptiness should look elsewhere.
