a wonderfull light and water show.by the end of the nite, aquavision multimedia show, unique of it's kind. the story of Silves is shown on the walls of the castle with water, laser and sound ballet. attonishing and unforgetable.
an old cork factory from the last century became a huge leisure park. open all year, a fabrica do ingles, just because it belonged to an english man. all along with the Silves castle an excepcional animation park with a lot to offer to it's visitors. a museum, restaurants, and music and theatre shows, all nite long and finishing with the breathtaking aquavision show closing a wonderfull evening.
They offer good live music. The girls will like the bar staff, all men (!) and total posers but they did run the bar extremely well and there is a great atmosphere. There is a karaoke upstairs with a small balcony which is a brill place for watching the world go by as its right in the middle of the old town square.
If you fancy a drink or two or 3, head down to the "Strip" in Albufeira, karaoke bars, pubs and restaurants open till late. Full of shops during day time too... not that interesting but good if you are bored of hotel food :P
A walk in the boat Marina of Portimao can be fun and you can relax, some pubs are open till late and you can enjoy calm and traquility that can't be found up the hill in Praia da Rocha.
This is one of the many existing BAR/PUBS in the main avenue (Avenida da Rocha) in Praia da Rocha. this Avenue is full of hundreds of Bars, Nighclubs, stree shops, etc... Sure if you're looking for some action this is the perfect place for it.
This is the perfect place to cheer with some life music, gamblimg, loosing money, watch life shows of dancers. Praia da Rocha is indeed full of diverse night spots for you to enjoy and have great time. you can't have sandals and sometimes shorts are not alowed also.
Silves can be a very special place during the night. The red walls along the white houses and street lamps give this spot a special medieval ambiance which you will not forget. You can cruise around the streets at night end enjoy a living Arab city in Europe. This castle is the most impressive Arab defensive construction in Algarve, and one of the best in the country. I don't think you'll need any dress code at all. Just go as you are, hehehe.
Take an evening stroll along the main strip before your evening meal,soak in the atmosphere,have a couple of drinks then select your restraunt.Do a spot of souveneir buying too walk to the edge of the promenade over the cliff and look out toward the sea.stroll back and have another couple of drinks.
