CAPE ST VINCENT
In ancient times known as the *End of the World* because everything beyond this rocky monument was the unknown. Cape St. Vincent towers 300 feet above pounding surf.
Home to Henry the Navigator for 40 years the fortress in which he lived still stands. It is here he is claimed to have founded his famous school of navigation where Cristopher Columbus learnt his skills.
The picture shows Cape St. Vincent's lighthouse that sits at the very southern tip of Europe and boasts a beam that shines 30 miles out to sea.

THE END OF THE WORLD!
Breathtaking is the only way to describe the views from the cliffs at Cape St. Vincent.
