Convento dos Remedios
Favorite thing: Convent located outside old city castle walls on the left side of the big cemetery main entrance. Road to bus station.
Inside cloisters and fountain. This building belongs to the Music School Eborae Musicae.
Convento dos Loios
Favorite thing: While visiting the Temple to Diana we passed by the Convento dos Loios and decided to visit there also. As you can see it has a nice decorative entrance arch with some statuary and inscriptions, including what looks to be a tomb in the floor. We entered and found to our surprise that the entire convent had been turned into a Pousada (see link)
The Pousada type hotels are to be found all over Portugal, they are historical buildings, castles, convents or others that the government has turned into hotels. A fantastic way to actually "live" a little bit of history. We checked out several dozen of them, hoping to stay in one or two, but they are way to pricey for us.

Convento do Carmo 2
Favorite thing: This is inside the convent's garden after the orange trees. Messy area but don't be afraid. Eat some oranges. They're there to eat!
