    beautiful flowers

Favorite thing: I traveled to Évora on one of the hottest days of the year, mid-August, when temperatures rose in the Alentejo over 110 degrees F. I was shocked to see that even amidst the dry, desert climate, flowers still abounded. There are beautiful pink geraniums that line every street of the city, adding a great contrast to the whitewashed walls of the buildings.

Favorite thing: You can see the roman temple, Pousada dos Loios and the top of the cathedral.
This garden is indeed the best place to enjoy the sun going down.
