This pastry-shop is on the main square of Evora and Antonio invited us for a great pastry at the end of our tour through Evora, before we made the excursion by taxi to the Cromeleque.
They have a large room inside and also a great terrace facing the church of the main square. For the toilet you have to ask for the key at the waiter.
Favorite Dish: We could choose between 4 different pastries and I took the one with powder-sugar on it, that was great and not so extremely sweet as the ones with the almonds on top, that will also be filled with marzipan. My favorite pastry in Portugal is the one on the left of my main pic,it is filled with caramel-custard, but you will get that everywhere and I wanted to try something else for a change.
Very tasty chocolate croissants. This is a must here in the city. This spot is a little bit out of everything but if you're a person how enjoys to walk just go for it, and actually nothing here in Evora is far. The town is very small.
Fresh made bread every morning.
Favorite Dish: Ask for a "Compal de Pessego" for drinking (peach nectar juice) and to eat ask for a croiassant de chocolate and another one but this time of xila (little strings made of pumpkin). Enjoy!!
