not possible to leave the feelin of it.
    amazing feeling.
    almost everything is the same.
    even the clock tower.
    and the bell?

between the entrance and the center of the village the immaculate white of the houses. new and unspoiled. not at all a breathtaking beauty. but a wonderfull atmosphere. almost able to feel the soul of the ancient village floating in the air.
    now i realize.
    that's the aldeia da luz.
    the old and the new.
    both are, just one.

the big chill throu the spine at the sight of the village.
the white houses aligned and geometric red roofs sure is a beautifull sight. a sentiment only possible to have when we' ve had the previledge to visit the ancient aldeia da luz.
the story of both villages and it's inhabitants constantly caming across my minds.
a story that i'm trying to tell yu at these page and mourao page.
    keep tracking.

in fact that's a farm were they raise ostrichs for the only purpose of serving it' s meat as the main dish in their restaurant.

Favorite Dish: never tried to eat ostrich meat, as i always found the ostrich such an elegant and cute animal that i 'd feel a shame to eat one.
but , well, just thrown it behind my back and came into the restaurant. a lot of diferent dishes, each one very good to taste. i strongly advice if yu come to alqueva region to try ostrich meat.

Favorite thing: the misfits, of the new aldeia da luz.
it is easy to notice in their faces.
feels like they still don 't belong to that place two years later.
    strange.

Fondest memory: against the information i 've had that they are unfriendly, and will not welcome you., it's not true. we felt very welcome and they always asked gladly our questions about their last two years story.
of course if yu have all day a dozen tourists asking the same yu 'd feel bored. but not them.
