This is one of the few interesting streets. Its old and narrow street look nice in white colour and old gates.

Very nice spetacle to watch as you can't see this everyday. As in the last few days it had been raining cats and dogs, al the fields in the regiong got soaked. In this case and because Oriola is right on the back of the Alvito water dam, its normal for this to happen here.

I bet that the old people that live here (and the majority of people that live here are old folks), use this small garden to rest and make their summer afternoon go away.

The bell still rings every hour and everytime people are called to church or anytime someone dies or gets married or is born.

People seem to tace good care of their house look. Altough i found the town a bit desorganized, the majority of the houses was well painted and taken good care off.

Oriola is a small town right on the bank of the Alvito water dam. About 20km from Portel and 45 from Evora. there isn't much to say or see here. Just passing by from Portel to Viana do Alentejo....
