	Climb to the Top of the Lighthouse

This is way off the beaten path beyond normal roads. The day after Vadim and I arrived at Renato's place, he took us in a van to a lighthouse that would show us a view of the ocean and the untouched forests. We got there, and the place was completely deserted - we climbed the steep and narrow stairs (I almost didn't make it because I was so afraid, but Renato manoeuvred around me to make me feel safer!) and the view from the top of the lighthouse was unforgettable. I just kept thinking that there was nothing between us and the African continent. I am so happy that I shared this moment with two very good friends.

(This isn't a real lighthouse, but more of a beacon).
