And for a single reason - it's the best place to see... us.Home town is home town, and Turquel, without special attractions it's close to everything and proud of its hospitality.Really, it's not a bad idea!
Bombarral is not a top destination, but it is located close to Lisbon, in a touristy route that leads to Obidos, Alcobaça, Nazaré and the other main attractions int the centre of Portugal. Thus, it may be an option to a brief stop, and a look "of the beaten path". My Bombarral page may help.
