Take a walk on the beach! It's a striking coastline so don't forget your camera.
I was here in the winter so there were no swimmers. I did see several surfers in wetsuits.
The beach in Carcavelos faces south. If you want you can see sunrises over the ocean just a little bit to the east, on the other side of Cascais.
