    Americans in Portugal

by NelsonM Written Nov 19, 2007

At the Cultural Center in the "Casa cor de Rosa" the organization Americans in Portugal has its monthly meetings. They usually have excellent speakers.
Did you know that there are over 80,000 Americans living in just the stretch between Lisbon and Cascais?

Centro Cultural de Cascais (Cultural Center)

The Cultural Center of Cascais is installed in "Casa Color-of-Rosa" (pink house), an old Convent. The construction of this Convent was an initiative of Conde de Monsanto, D. António de Castro, in his desire to establish the first Portuguese College of Philosophy, having been concluded in 1641.
The new Cultural Center of Cascais opened its doors in 2000, showing a multi-functional space. Especially directed to plastic arts, but also directed to concerts and other cultural events.
Opens from tuesday to sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.
