If you are looking for a nice place to eat in VERY TOURISTY Ericeira, go to America. Restaurant is owned by two older people. Grandma is cooking and grandpa is serving. Their kids and grandkids are coming for dinner every night. Other than that, the restaurant is TOURIST FREE!!!! My favorite!!!
Food is great. It is typical Portugeese food. I guess she cooks all the stuff her family loves.
Portions are really big, especially salads, they are huge and delicious.
Owners are the most friendly and down to earth people you can meet traveling.
Favorite Dish: Everything was our favorite. There was nothing that we did not like there.
Fish stew with rice was served in the pot it was cooked in - FANTASTIC!!
On the end of every dinner we got a glass of porto.

nice place to stop for quick lunch or dinner.
It is quite expensive, and owner speaks English too well (wonder where the prices came from).
There is plenty of local people eating....they are either very rich or....the prices are different for them.
The food is great, but more expensive than in good restaurant in New York.
Ericeira is a known place where people from Lisbon and surroundings go to eat seafood. Some restaurants are famous, meaning long lines at the doors, and, sometimes, a fat bill. Tired of it, I tried this small restaurant in the main commercial street, and came out very satisfied.
The food was excellent, the people very friendly, and the bill very reasonable. It's a place to return.
Favorite Dish: I only tasted some delicious fried shrimps. But all the food passing by us looked tasteful
Nice little cafe where we have seen local young guys eating day before. Just a place to stop for a cold beer and plate of caracoles (snails)

Another day in Ericeira and another positive experience in a new restaurant.
This one is called Tik-Tak and it's located near the center. We had good prawns, fried and grilled, with a tasty salad. The desert was also well prepared and presented.
A short wine list, but well balanced and priced.
The ambiance is sober and with good taste, with paintings in the walls showing their price. No doubt that there is a connection with artists - at the door, a Christmas tree was made by Cd and cases, in a recycling idea.
The price was regular, almost 50 € both meals.
Favorite Dish: Fried prawns with sauce.
The food is fantastic! Good portions and very good service. Large outdoor dining area in very cute cobbled street.

It's situated on the first floor of a simple house. The speciliaties are grilled fresh fish.
You may eat the excellent fresh seafood or meat. But you may feel the sea fragrance at the same time.
