Under the 25 de Abril Bridge is a dock area filled with restaurants and bars in former warehouses. There are several to choose from, mainly international restaurants. All of them facing the river, with great views of the bridge, the Monument to Christ, and the marina.

Doca de Santo Amaro is a very popular place for bar life and outdoor dining.
We ate at Doca 6 which turned out to be a quite ok place for fish dishes.
Pricing wasn´t that cheap but the view to the bridge was great and the harbour was full of silly and hungry fishes fed by diners.

Doca Peixe is one of the popular restaurants and bars that now occupy the former warehouses of the Doca de Santo Amaro.
It is an informal place, with plenty of tables to dine outside, and, due to the European Championship, a large screen to watch the Football matches.
Menu in English is available.
Favorite Dish: As in most restaurants serving fish, the waiters will show you the catch of the day for you to choose. For those who prefer variety instead of one big fish, I recommend an espetada (skewer) of mixed kinds of fish.
A very tasty option, but it is available only for 2 people minimum, is the cataplana, a mix of fish and seafood cooked in a special copper pan by the same name.

Docas is a marina with hundreds of restaurants bordering it. You will find here all kinds of restaurants - Italians, Argentinians, Brazilians,...and of course Portuguese ones. The prices vary, it depends on the restaurant. The place is very beautifull and there you have nice views of the river with the bridge. After dinner most of them turn discos/bars
