    Rest do Chapit

I liked the place and its ambiance. It seems like nice local youth is coming here to meet and eat. If you go early around 6 pm , you can find a good table by the view.

Favorite Dish: We ordered Fondue for 2 and a bottle of Vino Verde (It is like cider, typical from Portugal). It was very good quantity and value. See photo

Sharing the premises of a circus school, this restaurant has some of the most captivating views over Lisbon from its terrace and candlelit tables. The menu is limited but the food is good and the service is friendly. The views and atmosphere are ideal for a dinner for two. After dinner you may have a drink at the bar downstairs.

Restô do Chapitô: Dinner with a view

Standing right below St. George's Castle on Lisbon's highest hill, this restaurant is worth more for the incredible views over Lisbon than for the variety on the menu. It only lists a few dishes, that although good, are way too overpriced. I guess you're paying for the view. However, I must say that the ambience and surroundings is one of the best in the city. It's probably the best choice for a date when the atmosphere is more important than the food, which would also explain the couples and younger crowd. It also attracts artsy types, since this is on the same premises of a performing arts/circus school.

    wieners on fire!

Chapito is actually a training school for the arts. Dancing, clowning, you name it. They have very strong ties with the community and youth as well.

They do have an eatery as well...

This place is a restaurant, bar, outdoor terrace close to the Castelo Sao Jorge. There are panoramic views of the city. It's a lovely place to go at night.

beware though: some nights the full menu is not served, so you might only be able to eat appetizers rather than a full meal. if such is the case...eat some flaming wieners! it's very entertaining, although I must say we didn't do a very good job of cooking the sausage thoroughly.

Not sure about the food quality, since we were there a night that main dishes were not served. Appetizers were fine. I enjoyed the place more for its ambiance and view.

    Tu - Fr 7:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.
    Sa -So 10 a.m. - 2 a.m.

    Favorite Dish: flaming sausages.
    meat fondue.

They're entertaining, plus I didn't eat anything else.

This spot is more than a restaurant... You can enjoy the terrace view for a snack or drink, have an original dinner, watch several art school performances or cool live jazz in weekends...

The atmosphere is young, international and very relaxed... Great chill out ambience and music...

    Is quite a place...

Favorite Dish: To many diversity for a choice...

    I've been at two restaurants! First I visited Chapito! It's a restaurant/bar/launch/cybercafe/anything.
Why you have to go to Chapito is the beautifull siteseeing from the restaurant. You can oversee whole Lisbon from here. I can advise you to reserve a table at the window. If you don't sit at the window it could be a bummer to eat there! We didn't thougt the food was of very good quality.

Favorite Dish: I took a simple menu at Chapito's, just an entrecote with a sort of mosterd/cheese sauce. We ordered a nice wine, but I can't remember the name of it. Sorry!
