Quite good collection of different toys.Interesting to children ( I think,we have none) and to us who have been child one day ;)
Toys for different ages in 3 or 4 floors.Only negative thing was how bad the air was there.I allmost felt sick.And it was very hot-and I hardly ever say so.Maybe it´s better at some other time of the year than July.I hope they will get airconditioning anyway.
The Sintra Toy Museum is housed in the former Firemen Headquarters and on display are toys mainly collected by Joâo Arbués Moreira over a period of more than fifty years.

About 20 000 pieces belonging to the Arbues Moreira Foundation, among thousands of tin soldiers, wax, porcelain and papier machêr dolls, miniature theatres, circuses, wind-up trains, steam-engines, Meccano's famous "Dinkytoys" and a variety of Portuguese toys.
The toys exhibited in this Museum are part of a private collection gathered during more than 50 years by João Arbués Moreira.
