First and most important - HOW to find this place...enter Bathalha on your search...from there look south till you find the "Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeros".
Mira de Aire is on the south east part of the park.
But this place is well worth the drive and effort to find and explore. The drive through the various small towns in the area are also nice.
Those small blue and aquamarine spots you see on the photos are actually pools of water, apparently depending on the mineral that can be found there the light that is shining on the pools cause different colors.
