Well we found this one by accident, it was a rainy night and we had just checked out several other restaurants in the area...we saw Estrelas da Europa on a side street so u-turned and came back. Turns out it was one of the best we found.
We also enjoyed people watching here since we were the ONLY foreigners. There was a birthday party with several dozen people, all the men on one side, the women on the opposite. We thought this was logical since you could then see your partner across the table...but we found out this was NOT the reason...just a few moments later the table began singing, what we assumed was the Portugese version of HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and in the middle of one of the sentences we heard the men break out in a loud shout "GOAL"...they had sat down opposite their partners, NOT to see them, but to see the soccer game on TV ^O^.
Favorite Dish: The restaurant is a very simple and clean establishment, nothing fancy, people walking in and talking to the waitress and the bartender, then sitting for dinner or a drink. No frills like tablecloths, just good, decent food.
I decided to take a chance and ordered a T-Bone (was getting tired of fish by this time in our trip). Turns out it was excellent and I got this for only 10 Euro, including coffee afterwards.
