Nowadays this beautiful house allows the development of new on modalities to the cultural and artistic production in its diverse thematic components: cinema, plastic music, arts, theater. The space of intervention of the house has a modern unit and functional, integrating an inserted space of library in the National Net of Reading Public and supported by the Portuguese Institute of the Book and the Libraries, as well as zones you specify dedicated the infantile and youthful formative activities, atelier of expression, zone of deposit and document conservation, areas of consultation and loan, and section of audiovisual diffusion.

You`ll like to be with your friends in this patio during the day or even the night, where you can look at a nice landscape, right close to the river.

In Soajo you can see a group of 24 Espigueiros. They belongs everyone, as long as they need. They were designed for storing grain and corn at the proper humidity.

I choosed them to show you an exemple of Kindeness from the arcuenses- people from Arcos. They have what you can call
"community spirit"

Everybody, like I said help eachother when it`s necessary.

This sport combines the startegy of soccer with the joy of kayaking.
This year it will be the National Championship in Arcos de Valdevez on 16 and 17 July.
