As you wander around the castle and its walls beware of slippery stones or steps, mainly if visiting during autumn or rainy season, which was my case.
Stair’s steps are not too big and somewhat steep; that fact together with slippery wet stones may cause some accident, so be careful while going up and down the stairs to explore the castle.
To enter and to leave the castle you must pass through a door and passage. That passage was not always on its place – usually they used to hold that passage up in order to prevent invaders from entering the fortress. As with so many others, this castle also uses the technique of being surrounded by water to prevent “visits”.
Nowadays the mentioned passage is not a good condition, at least in my opinion. Some wooden straps seem to be loose and show some “holes”, making it dangerous for smaller children. But this is the only entrance to the castle, so watch where you step.
