The Termas of Chaves (Thermal springs) are located a few minutes from the city centre by foot. It seems that is one of the hottest springs in Europe. That water attracts both tourists and people seeking the treatment of rheumatism, kidney dysfunction and hypertension. The Water bubbles up at a temperature of 73ºC (163º F).

It seems that the Misericórdia Church is worthy of a visit, unfortunately i didn't have time to go inside, but i could admire its Baroque facade style.
I had read that it has an exquisite interior lined with 18th century azulejos (glazed tiles).
