This is the new metro that supports all the Porto zone area in terms of transportation. Porto had since 1974 projects to build a subway They just end up making this one and only in some parts it goes under the earth.

Matosinhos's houses are quite an experience to see. The big majority of the houses are decorated with Portuguese style tiles.

This is Degusto - Ristorante & Wine Bar.
It started to be italian only but nowadays provides international cuisine also. Portuguese dishes are popular too, of course.
The wine list is really impressive. Or wouldn't guests find next door one of the finest wine shops in the whole Portugal, Vinho & Coisas.

VINHO & COISAS WINE CENTER, is one of the finest wine-shops in the whole city of Porto area.
Portuguese Wine Magazine ("Revista de Vinhos") has already rated it the best Portuguese wine shop for two times, in 2002 and 2004, which is quite unusual !!!
Besides wine accessories and also some gourmet imported food, this store carries the biggest selection of imported wines in Portugal.
And, of course, at VINHO & COISAS any customer will also find wines from the finest Portuguese producers.
By the way, Degusto - Ristorante & Wine Bar belongs to the same group and is located at next door.
