A new space has been recently opened near to Palácio da Justiça, Museu da Fotografia and Torre dos Clérigos in the centre of Porto. It’s called Atelier – Café Bar.
One of the very few bars in town where smoking is allowed.
The beer and sangria (home-made) are poured out of 2 saxophones fixed to the bar, lit up by Leds lights that change colours, creating different atmospheres. The décor includes an imposing chrome steel lamp with more than 150 crystal glasses.
During the day and at night you can have some nice snacks, like roast pork sandwich, an exceptional onion soup au gratin or ‘escargots’, among other things, and different wines served by the glass or a flute of champagne.
The music is mainly mainstream jazz or 50’s to 80’s at a comfortable level, making it possible to have a conversation.
    Prices are quite affordable.
Daytime opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    Night-time opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 9 p.m. to 1.30 a.m.

    Vinologia: Great Port Wine Bar

Fantastic little bar where you can try smaller producers' wines (Port).

They have more than 200 kinds.

Staff is friendly and speak a range of languages.

You can also buy the Port here to take home, or they can ship it to you.

If you are going to try Port in Porto, be sure to stop by Vinologia and try some of the smaller producers. The Port from the big houses across the river are widely available around the world. Vinologia is a far better Port experience.
