There are plenty of good museums in Lisbon, but my favorite was the one inside the ex-church of Carmo, lots of beautiful things to see, windows, sclptures, treasures and paints, and graves, and many many other beautiful things!
I love the countryside of Alentejo the most. It's just so perfect! It's like Tell Tubby land! Driving though Alentejo. The sun was Shining; Playing Simon and G. in the car and eating a toffie crisp which I hadn't been able to have for years as they don't sell them in Spain!

Apart from the mainland, there are also 2 archipelagos: Madeira and Azores.Portugal is divided into 18 Districts (in the mainland), and 2 Autonomous Regions – Azores and Madeira. In the following General Tips, I will describe each of the Districts and Islands that I have already visited. Unfortunately, I still haven’t visited them all. Vila Real District is situated at the centre of the northern region in Portugal.
