    The tomb contains the remains of Joao and his queen, Philippa of Lancaster, their effiqies lie side by side, hand in hand. Around in the Capela do Fundador are the tombs of their children.

    Worth visiting is also the town of Sintra, about two hours by train from Lisbon. Sintra is situated on a beautiful mountains and gardens.

    You must see the LEVADA'S.
    These are small watercanals where you can walk beside. It's not a tough walk. You get splendid views. But you don't have to be afraid of hights!!!!!
