    Camacha is a small village Madeira. The main source is the wicker and with it many forniture is done. Chairs, tables, etc... You must visit Camacha in August when the wicker festival goes on.

    To go some km will take hours but North island is great.
    If you travelling from Funchal take the all day to go to Porto Moniz.
    Don't forget your swim suit.

    It's fun to visit the market; it's very loud and colorful! You don't have to go very early, but do try to go in the morning. Check out all the tropical fruits... try passion fruit, papaya, anona...
