Always have rain gear

by AnitaJRT

We always travel with one small bag each, making it easy to get around regardless of the terrain. Of course sometimes that bag gets heavy, but our backpacks also have "wheels" if you are somewhere where they can roll easily. I swear by our trusty hiking books -- but also carried rain gear and umbrella wherever we went. We would leave our hotels in breathtaking sunshine, to end up in showers and fog 1/2 hour later. We lived in lightweight jackets or sweaters and jeans, but we visited during February. There isn't anything that you can't purchase if the need arises.
